Just Talk! Live Chat provides a communication accommodation for a broad spectrum of hearing loss; from “Big D – Deaf” persons (not audible) to “Little d – deaf” persons (audible) to “Hard of Hearing” persons.

Most U.S. businesses struggle to provide adequate communication accommodations for their d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees and customers as required by the ADA Title I (employees) and Title III (customers). Yes! The speech-to-text engine within Just Talk! Live Chat instantly converts spoken words into visible text onto your smartphone or smart tablet screen, allowing you to read what is being said or texted in real time.

Absolutely! You can type your response using the keyboard, so it appears immediately on the chat board screen. Typing a message is called text-to-text (TTT). And then, Just Talk! Live Chat will use text-to-speech (TTS) to “voice” your message to the hearing person with whom you are having a conversation.

These are unique, animated emoji stickers that represent common phrases in American Sign Language, adding a layer of cultural expression to your digital conversations. Just Talk! Live Chat features Hello, Yes, No, Please, Thank You, and I Love You as animated ASL emojis. These emojis also have the capability for “emoji-to-audio” so they can be “voiced” out loud through the device’s speaker.

Absolutely! Just Talk! Live Chat places each of the spoken words or text messages into two different colored bubbles: dark blue and gray.

Of course! If a d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing person has paired, via Bluetooth technology, their assistive hearing devices with their personal smartphone or smart tablet, then the audio of either the spoken words or text messages within a Just Talk! Live Chat conversation can be heard in that person’s hearing devices.

Subscription & Access

Although Hi There Solutions offers Just Talk! Live Chat as a free download, individual users will need to create an account (simply provide an email address and passcode) on the Just Talk! Live Chat website (www.justtalklivechat.com) to subscribe for a low-cost monthly price. After creating an account and entering a payment method, individuals will then be directed back to either the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to download the app onto their device. Individuals who are an affiliated marketing partner or an Enterprise partner of Hi There Solutions will be prompted to enter a special token code to receive an immediate discount off the already low-cost monthly subscription price. You may cancel your subscription anytime.

You can use the Just Talk! Live Chat mobile app immediately after creating an account, subscribing to our low-cost monthly subscription, and downloading the app onto your device.

No! Just Talk! Live Chat allows for unlimited usage with the paid monthly subscription.

Absolutely not! We don’t believe you should have to pay more for a high degree of accuracy of the transcriptions when using Just Talk! Live Chat!

No! Only the person who initiated the conversation needs the Just Talk! Live Chat mobile app on their device (smartphone or smart tablet). You simply show your screen to the other person after you’re finished talking or texting!

Most transcription and translation features require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data) to process voice data accurately through APIs provided by Amazon Web Service (AWS). Just Talk! Live Chat can be used anytime, anywhere, and on any smartphone or smart tablet device.

Hi There Solutions emphasizes privacy for all their mobile app solutions; we do not store chat transcripts after the Just Talk! Live Chat session ends to ensure the privacy of your conversations. Just Talk! Live Chat is also encrypted end-to-end providing a high degree of security. Hi There Solutions employs Amazon Web Service (AWS) for cloud and data server functions. AWS has been consistently recognized as one of the most secure cloud-based server providers.
